ASUS announced the release of the CUV4X-LS ATX form factor motherboard for latest Intel Pentium III and Celeron processors. CUV4X-LS based on VIA Apollo Pro133A chipset and has onboard LAN/SCSI controllers to deliver an ideal solution for entry-level servers and workstations.
The CUV4X-LS bundles the ASUS LS99 LAN/SCSI module through the ASUS proprietary LAN/SCSI slot onboard to provide high-speed network connection and storage management capabilities. The LAN/SCSI module features the 3Com 3C920 EtherLink LAN controller that fully supports 10BaseT and 100BaseT protocols, and the Adaptec 7899 Ultra160 SCSI controller that supports up to 30 SCSI devices with a data transfer rate of up to 160 MBps.
