AMD Recommends: New Mainboards. [02/14/2001 07:52 PM]

The list of "AMD Athlon Processor Recommended Motherboards" on AMD’s web-site has been updated recently. Now it includes 4 new mainboards. Here they are:
  • BIOSTAR M7MIA
  • FIC AD11
  • Gigabyte GA-7DX
  • MSI MS-6341
As you may have noticed, all the 4 mainboards supporting CPUs with 266MHz FSB are based on AMD-760 chipset. None of the boards based on ALi MAGiK 1 or VIA KT133A has been certified by AMD. well, let’s hope that this is just a matter of time, since VIA KT133A based products still provide the best price-to-performance ratio of all.
