According to the info we read over at Clubic, in March MSI is going to launch two new Socket A mainboards based on VIA KT266. They will be:
  • K7MG Pro (MS-6375). This mainboard features 3 DDR DIMM slots together with 2 SDR DIMM slots simultaneously. Other specs are quite standard: 1 AGP Pro, 5 PCI and 1 CNR slot, 6 USB ports, integrated Creative CT5880 sound chip. No wonder that this mainboard supports all MSI’s brand technologies, such as D-LED and PC2PC (provides Ethernet connection via USB).
  • K7T266 Pro (MS-6380). The major distinguishing feature of this mainboard is USB 2.0 support. So, this will be the world’s first mainboard supporting USB 2.0 bus. While the chipsets do not support USB 2.0 yet, the mainboard will have an external USB 2.0 controller from NEC. Now come the other specs: 3 DDR DIMM slots, AGP Pro slot, 5 PCI and 1 CNR slot. There will be also an integrated ATA/100 IDE RAID controller from Promise. You may see the photo here.
