In the nearest future Fujitsu Company is going to start manufacturing HDDs featuring 15,000rpm spindle rotation speed. The first models in this family will be SCSI devices with the capacity 18GB, 36GB and 72GB. At the time of launching the hard disk drives will support Ultra 320 SCSI and FC-AL (2GBit/sec).
The exact dates and prices haven’t been announced yet.
