The first Socket370 mainboards on VIA Apollo Pro266 chipset are about to appear in retail in the nearest future. Of course, Soltek is also among the companies offering their solutions on this chipset. Its new Soltek SL-65DRV mainboard should come out very soon now. Let us a say a few words about this new product.
This Socket370 ATX board is equipped with 3 DIMM slots for up to 3GB PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM. There are also 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP Pro slot and 1 CNR slot. Other than that SL-65DRV is quite an ordinary mainboard.
Unfortunately, we can’t help mentioning the inconveniently located components around AGP Pro slot. One side of the slot is occupied by DIMM slots and the other one – by IDE connectors.
