Ricoh announced a new CD-RW drive – MP7125A, as we read over at Clubic. Like the already known MP7120A, the newcomer allows writing onto CD-disks at 12x speed, rewriting – at 10x and reading at 32x. The major difference between the two models is the support of Ricoh brand "Just Link" technology, which is somewhat similar to BurnProof technology. The main idea of both is very simple: to reduce the amount of errors when writing if the buffer is full. Because of the new Just Link technology, the buffer of MP7125A is twice as small as that of the predecessor: 2MB. All the other features are just the same.
As far as the due date and the price goes, nothing has been mentioned yet.
