We are happy to announce that one more Socket370/FC-PGA mainboard based on i815EP chipset appeared in retail. This time the ABIT SE6 ver. 2.1 mainboard is selling in Hong Kong. This is a new revision of the popular SE6 board based on i815E. ABIT decided not to redesign the mainboard and simply replaced the i815E North Bridge on its SE6 with a new one, i815EP, which differs from the predecessor by the absence of the integrated graphics core. As a result, SE6 ver. 2.1 has only one difference: no monitor Out. The mainboard features 1 AGP 4x slot, and 6 PCI slots. Besides, there are 3 168-pin DIMM slots. Moreover, ABIT SE6 ver. 2.1 supports SoftMenu III technology, which allows increasing the FSB frequency up to 250MHz. And which is especially pleasing, it’s the price. You can buy this products for only $105.
