Chaintech announced the launch of its new Socket A 7AJA2 mainboard. It is based on VIA KT133A chipset with 686B South Bridge and supports up to 1.5GB of PC133 SDRAM memory. New 7AJA2 offers even better overclocking capabilities (subtle 1MHz FSB settings, Vcore tuning), 6-channel PCI audio on-board, ATA-100 drive support and Chaintech’s Value Pack 2001 software bundle.
As noted above, the Chaintech 7AJA2 motherboard is available with Chaintech’s Value Pack 2001 software bundle, which includes such programs as Adobe Photoshop LE, Acrobat Reader, V-Com: AutoSave, Norton Anti-Virus 2001 (full version) and a host of others. Further, the 7AJA2 can be bundled with a licensed copy of InterVideo’s WinDVD. The version of WinDVD available from Chaintech has been specially modified to get the most out of the 7AJA2’s on-board 6-channel PCI audio.
