We got a word from the guys over at VR-Zone about the shipping schedule for a couple of new EPoX mainboards, which we have already told you about in our news. Here are the timeframes:
  • EP-3VHA. This board will be based on VIA Apollo Pro266 (VT8633 + VT8233). It will feature 3 DDR SDRAM DIMM slots, 6 PCI, 1 AGP 4x, 1 LMR, Fast Ethernet, ATA-100, 6 USB (2 ports will be optional). The mainboard should start shipping in mass in February 2001.
  • EP-8KHA. This mainboard is built on VIA KT266 (VT8366+VT8233). It will be provided with 3 DDR SDRAM DIMM slots, 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP 4x, 1 LMR, Fast Ethernet. The first mass shipments are scheduled for the end of February.
  • EP-8K7A+. This product is based on AMD 761 + VT82C686B. It will have 2 DDR SDRAM DIMM slots, 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP 4x, ATA-100 IDE RAID. The shipments are due in February already.
