The prototypes of ATI chipsets with the integrated RAGE128 graphics core have already been shown at various exhibitions several times. However, the company hasn’t yet come to their mass production. Now due to the signed agreement, ATI will be able to offer the market a new mass product. Moreover, ATI is also going to work on an integrated chipset solution with RADEON.
As for Intel, they also have their interest here. From now on they get access to ATI’s graphics and multimedia technologies, which can be used in Intel products as well.
