i815EP based mainboards from Gigabyte appeared in Japanese hardware stores. They are: GA-6OXE and GA-6OXE-1. They are based on the layout of GA-6OXE7E (i815E) mainboard. GA-6OXE is a Socket370 mainboard designed in ATX form-factor equipped with 4 DIMM slots, 5 PCI, 1 AGP and 1 CNR slot. It has Creative CT5880 integrated sound and supports DualBIOS technology.
As far as GA-6OXE-1 is concerned, this mainboard is very similar to GA-6OXE with that only difference that it has 3 DIMM slots, doesn’t support DualBIOS and is provided with AC’97 integrated sound.
The boards cost around $138 and $120 correspondingly.
