At present Winbond manufactures DDR333 memory and partners with Infineon Technologies AG. According to their agreement, a certain part of the chips later on manufactured by Winbond with 0.11micron technology should come out under Infineon’s brand name. However, the company is not going to give up the production of its own goods. The intention to tackle DDR400 is just another proof of the point.
