The results of the H1 2002 showed that the leading mainboard maker remains ASUS Company. As we read over here, ASUS shipped 7.73 million units within H2 2002. The second largest manufacturer is ECS with 7.6 million units shipped.

Two other manufacturers belonging to the Big Four, namely, MSI and Gigabyte shipped 5-5.5 million and 2.23 million mainboards respectively.

On the whole, the Taiwanese mainboard makers shipping 40.77 million mainboards, with the 56% share of the Big Four.
