VIA’s VPSD division announced the beginning of shipments of VIA P4PB 266E mainboards based on VIA P4X266E chipset (see the details about the chipset here).

There is nothing extremely special about this mainboard, only the 6-channel VIA VT1616 sound chip and optical S/PDIF Out. All the rest is pretty standard: ATX form-factor, 3 DIMM slots for up to 3GB PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM, an AGP 4x slot, ATA/133 interface, USB 2.0 (VT8235 South Bridge), and VIA’s brand FliteDeck utilities set.
