C.P. Technology Brings Things in Order. [07/25/2002 11:36 PM]

C.P.Technology, which was the first one to announce RADEON 9000/Pro based graphics cards (see this news story), has finally cleared the situation with the working frequencies. Here are the products:
  • RV2XT-B3 (Evil Commando RADEON 9000, see this news story). The card is based on RADEON 9000 chip working at 250MHz. It is equipped with 64MB of DDR memory working at 400MHz. The card features a D-Sub (CRT), FVI-I and TV-Out.
  • RV2A-B3. The card is based on RADEON 9000 Pro chip working at 250MHz. It is equipped with 64MB of DDR memory working at 550MHz. The card features a D-Sub (CRT), FVI-I and TV-Out. The peculiarity is fast memory with 3.3ns access time (the potential is up to 600MHz DDR).
  • RV2A-C3. The card is based on RADEON 9000 Pro chip working at 250MHz. It is equipped with 128MB of DDR memory working at 550MHz. The card features a D-Sub (CRT), FVI-I and TV-Out. The peculiarity is the fact that it is the most useless solution of the three :)
In fact, I get more and more hope now that the launching of the new 9xxx graphics chips will help ATI to solve the problem with the card specifications among the third manufacturers…
