Also the stir around the official names for these chips seems to be coming to an end. R300 will be called RADEON 9700, and RV250 will be available in two modifications: RADEON 9000 and RADEON 9000 Pro. You can guess easily that the latter two chips will differ from one another by the clock frequencies. RADEON 9000 Pro will boast 300MHz core clock, while RADEON 9000 might also come in two versions: 250MHz and 275MHz. This way ATI’s positioning of the new solutions in the market are no longer weird to us.
