Ti4600 and Ti4200 Based Cards from Soltek. [07/01/2002 10:44 PM]

Soltek Company, which has recently entered the VGA market (see this news story), announced the release of their product family based on NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4600 and GeForce4 Ti4200 chips, as to this web-site.

Note that although the Ti4600 specs are pretty standard (300MHz chip and 128MB 650MHz memory), then the GeForce4 Ti4200 based solution looks outstanding against the background of the similar solutions from other manufacturers: the chip frequency equals to the standard 250MHz, while the memory frequency (there 128MB of memory onboard) is much higher than the recommended 444MHz DDR. It is set to the same 650MHz as by Ti4600 based solution.
