The Inquirer site reported that the industrial JEDEC Committee started working on DDR III specs. Despite the fact that there is still a lot of time left even before the mass production of DDR II memory should start, the industry prefers to start preparing for the new standard well in advance. Especially since according to the existing unofficial info, DDR III is to begin its career only in 2006.
