S3 Graphics, Inc. today announced the launch of their first Certified Partner Program. The program provides for a formal structured working relationship with selected leading PC Graphics solution providers, ensuring highest quality technical exchange and smooth product introduction.

Certified partners will enjoy the benefits of S3Graphics proven OEM commercial grade support, every new design will be reviewed in detail to ensure consistent quality standards. End users and system builder can be assured that every certified partner product is backed by S3Graphics heritage of over a decade of technology experience.

Tyan Computer Corporation becomes the first Certified Partner with the introduction of their exciting new Tachyon™ G3300 graphics board, featuring the S3Graphics SavageXP graphics processor. Tyan brings their long-standing reputation for performance, reliability and stability to the growing graphics card market.

Other Certified Partners at Computex include Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd., C.P. Technology Co., Ltd., Soyo Computer, Inc., ASK/Innovision Technology, Pine Technology Holdings Ltd., Sunrich Technology Ltd., Geniman International Ltd. Configured with a 64MB frame buffer, the SavageXP features high performance 128bit DDR memory interface, with over 5.7 GB/s memory bandwidth.
