Our Anna continues to report from Comdex Fall, Las Vegas. This time she saw Toshiba demonstration of their next-generation 3D screen technology at the tradeshow and was very impressed by the prototype of a display.

Unfortunately, Toshiba decided not to explain the specifications or technical details of this exciting product prototype and all I can now share with you is just what we have seen at Comdex. The image quality seems to be crisp enough (of course, it is UXGA!) but when we try to work with the display, we have that sick feeling, just the same as with old 3D-glasses a number of years ago.

The clear advantage of the technique is definitely the thin size of the prototype, just like a standard TFT screen of a contemporary notebook. Toshiba claims that the technology will be massive in future and will be utilized in all mobile computers. Well, at least, when there will be no sick feelings when looking at this kind of screen.
