Yesterday we told you about the first products launched by New ELSA. It appeared that the company plans to start selling their 56K fax-modems with rich software bundle (see this news-story). What is definitely more interesting for most of the end-users, who use broadband internet connection, New ELSA also prepares to (re)enter the graphics cards business soon.

As we know, New ELSA owns “Gladiac”, Winner, “Synergy” and “Gloria” brand-names that were used for graphics cards. The first two are consumer’s graphics solutions, while another pair is well-known among professional users.

As this Polish web-site reports, New ELSA will launch its Gladiac graphics cards powered by the RADEON 9500 PRO and the RADEON 9700 PRO graphics processors shortly. Apparently, this German internet online store already offers to pre-order these two devices for 259 and 499 Euros respectively. Both devices utilise the reference design from ATI Technologies and are equipped with D-Sub, DVI-I and a TV-Out connectors. You can view the picture of the Gladiac RADEON 9700 PRO graphics card and its retail package here.

Unfortunately, it is not officially reported who have eventually become the manufacturing partner for New ELSA. Before ELSA AG went bankrupt earlier this year, Gigabyte and Aopen had manufactured the graphics cards for the company. According to the rumours, now ATI Technologies itself makes the graphics cards for New ELSA. It seems to be the truth, since currently only ATI itself can manufacture the RADEON 9700 PRO based products.
