Apparently, ASRock equips its VIA KT266A based mainboard with VT6201/VT6202 USB 2.0 controllers, but not with VT8235 South Bridge, as it was stated some time ago. There is unofficial information that VIA supplies its KT266A core-logic with the newer I/O controller now, however, according to this web-site, ASRock still utilises external USB 2.0 supporting chips.
The original news-story about the K7VT2 mainboard from ASRock with specifications of the novelty is available here.
