Three New Pentium 4-M Processors from Intel. [04/23/2002 11:52 PM]

Today Intel made an official press-release saying that they have just launched three new mobile Pentium 4-M processors working at 1.8GHz, 1.5GHz and 1.4GHz. They differ from the predecessors (see this news story) only by the working frequency and the price: new models cost around $637, $268 and $198 per piece in 1,000-unit quantities respectively (the 1.7GHz and 1.6GHz models cost $508 and $401 accordingly).

I would like to remind you that in the end of May Intel is going to carry out a significant performance drop touching upon these CPUs, which will make the fastest models in the family nearly twice as cheap.
