I suppose that chipsets like KM266, PM266 and i815E look like nonsense from the marketing point of view, as I have already tried to explain several times. However, I don’t feel like offending Elitegroup guys, really. So, I decided to pay attention to this mainboard too.
The solution is designed in MicroATX form-factor, supports Socket A CPUs, is equipped with 2 DIMM slots for up to 1GB unbuffered or 2GB buffered). Besides, there are 3 PCI slots, an AGP 4x slot, a CNR slot, integrated Savage8, which is just the same as Savage4, ATA/133 support (implemented in VT8233A South Bridge), integrated Realtek 8100B Ethernet 10/100 controller, an optional USB 2.0 chip (most probably it will be VIA VT6202).
