Actually, there appeared some troubles with the chipset name. According to the initial unofficial info (see this news story), the chip was supposed to be called SiS650GX, however, PC Chips called it SiS650GL (maybe following the Intel 845GL analogy). It is hard to say who is right here, because there is no official info from SiS on this chipset. however, it is not too bad as the specs of SiS650GX and SiS650GL coincide completely.
Now let’s return to the mainboard. It is designed in MicroATX form-factor, features 2 DIMM slots for up to 2GB PC133/PC100 SDRAM and 2 DIMM slots for up to 2GB PC2700/PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM. besides, there are 2 PCI slots, integrated SiS315 graphics core (up to 64MB UMA), no AGP slot, an AMR slot, ATA/100 support (SiS961 South Bridge), 10/100Mbit/sec Fast Ethernet, an optional AMR V.90 Fax/Modem, AC’97 sound. In other words, we see a universal office solution for the upcoming Celeron (Willamette-128) CPUs.
