- The CPU with A0 core stepping showcased in both cased worked at the actual core clock of 1.4GHz.
- The next core stepping A1 is expected to appear in the nearest future and should work at 1.8Ghz-2GHz.
- The first Hammer CPU will have the performance rating equal to 3400+ (by the way, we have already shared something of the kind last September).
- The performance of Hammer processor in 32bit code will be 15% higher than that of Athlon XP working at the same core clock. Another 10% performance gain are promised to be delivered when the programs are recompiled in 64bit (without any code changes).
Also the info about not only VIA and SiS working on the chipsets for Hammer, but also ALi has been confirmed.
