Micron Starts Trial Shipments of DDR400. [03/25/2002 06:46 AM]

Micron made an official press-release where they announced that they were starting to ship DDR400 chips and memory modules built with them to all parties interested, including SiS Company. The latter couldn’t help checking if these modules are compatible with the new SiS648 chipset and the wonder happened: they turned out completely compatible :)

Then Micron claims that the chips will be available in mass quantities later this year. To be more exact in summer when SiS648, KT400 and other chipsets should come out.
