I have no idea how, but VIA has managed to convince Fry’s Electronics, a large American retail network, owner of the online distribution channel Outpost.com, to start selling VIA’s mainboards, based on P4X266A (P4XB-S and P4XB-SA) chipset. In the current conditions it can be taken as one of the few VIA’s achievements.
By the way, VIA always has the opportunity to make supplies of these mainboards in "white boxes" in order to let its partners avoid possible prosecutions on court from Intel. Maybe, it was the key factor of Fry’s Electronics’ positive decision.
