Post to SlashdotFrankly speaking, I expected lower prices from this company. It’s not ASUSTeK, after all, who charges a lot for its products, but just a “middle” Taiwan company, who has found its consumers due to adequate prices combined with quite good quality.

Another interesting newcomer appeared in Japanese shops last weekend: it’s a GeForce4 Ti4600 chip based video-board from the famous in our country Sparkle Company. Like it was with Athlon XP 2100+, this video-board appeared in many shops at a time – in 12, to be more precise. However, this potentially pleasant fact looses a part of its attractions, when the newcomer’s price is seen. The price range is from 52980 to 57800 yens, which is equal to $410-450 US dollars, while the recommended retail price is $399, with the retailer’s interest included!
