So, it is reported, that during the CeBIT show SiS Company showcased its working SiS330 chip in A0 revision (according to the accepted practice, it’s the first working version of the chip). Together with a 1.8 GHz Pentium 4 CPU and SiS648 chipset (with DDR400 and AGP 8x support), the chip’s performance was “almost equal to GeForce4 MX440 and ATI Radeon 7500”. Instead of illustrations, the site published this photo of the system, which doesn’t show anything concrete.
Besides, the site says, that according to SiS reports, almost three hundred games were tested for compatibility with the chip, and it was concluded, that switching to AGP 8x mode increases SiS330 performance by 10% (i.e. AGP 4x use may, consequently, decrease the performance).
