Firstly, NVIDIA is planning to release new nForce420 and nForce415 chipset revisions this month (in fact, there will be one chipset revision because nForce 415 is the same nForce420 but with a disabled graphics core). So far, it is not very clear, what will the difference between the new and the old chipset revisions be, however, we dare suppose that it will be the performance (so that it could catch up or even outperform VIA KT333).
Secondly, we learned that the company is going to announce the second generation of its mainboard chipsets (Crush17?) in June at Computex (Taipei), i.e. a year after the first nForce came out. Everything we know about this product generation, is that it will be designed for AMD processors. It’s a pity not for Pentium 4, as they allow using the dual-channel memory more efficiently. Other specs are still kept secret (as usual). However, you can easily guess what they might be like: DDR333 and DDR400 support, new graphics core (GeForce4?), ATA/133, USB 2.0...
