Well, it seems like “NVIDIA vs. Futuremark” scandal, we have been covering for about a week now, as well as “ATI vs. NVIDIA” battle for the graphics market in general, continue to gain momentum. Now it is time for both parties to start making some spoofs on the matter. Today I noticed a set of very funny pictures over the Rage3D forums that are about the Matrix, Neo, NVIDIA, Morpheus and ATI Technologies. “Tell me, Mr. Anderson. What good is a [RADEON] 9800 if you are unable to see?” But you are able to see, so, take a look at the pictures here.

And more about the Matrix. Wonder what the computational requirements needed to simulate human existence are? Head over Slashdot to find it out over here

The riders of the storm themselves, manufactures of all those graphics card that take you million miles away from the reality thanks to either ATI or NVIDIA, also could not resist from issuing their reaction on the scandal. At least, VisionTek has posted a nice flash movie titled as “Top Three Denials in US History” on their official web-site. Here they are: “People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook” by a man, who resembles Richard Nixon, the 37th President of the USA, “I did not have sexual relations with this woman” by a person, who looks like William Clinton, the 42nd President of the USA, and the one that  interests us the most: “We don't know what they [FutureMark] did, but it looks like they have intentionally tried to make our products look bad” by a funny guy with a paper pack on his head, who is titled as “An NVIDIA source, who refused to be identified”. You can see the short movie here, at VisionTek’s official web-site.

With all those endless reviews of graphics cards, mainboards and CPUs we forgot that a personal computer consists also from input devices, i.e. mouse and keyboard. Everybody knows that these devices may play a significant role in working comfort, thus, it would be wrong to pass in silence over AthlonXP.com review of new cordless kit from Logitech - Cordless MX Duo, consisting from Elite keyboard and MX700 mouse. Logitech produces very high-quality input stuff and this kit is an excellent extension to Logitech’s products line-up. Read the review here.

For those of you, who has a mainboard unable to change AMD Athlon XP processor’s multipliers, or you prefer to set the multiplier once and for all, German OCinside.de has updated its interactive Thoroughbred and Barton bridges painting guide with new multipliers. Now you can pick any multiplier in 3-24x range and immediately see the right configuration of bridges for it. The same thing for the Vcore and L11 bridges. You can see this guide here.

Oh, well, if you are an overclocker, but not an extreme one, you should definitely pay attention to the review of TTIC-NPH-2 Heatpipe cooler from Thermal Transtech over OverClockers.com. The fan is relatively quiet, but the device is still able to cool down a powerful Socket A processor even if they are overclocked a bit. Click here for the review.

And if you have $2500 to spend on a personal computer but are not sure what to choose, head over here, because Sharky Extreme has their May High-end Gaming System Buyer's Guide up. I wonder why they still recommend 19” CRT monitors for an expensive computer, but anyway, the article will definitely help you to make your choice.
