Samsung Electronics has countersued Apple over patents infringement. The consumer electronics giant believes that Apple infringes ten of its patents with its products. The move happens after Apple accused Samsung over infringement of its patents.

“Samsung is continuing to respond actively to the legal action taken against us,” the company said in a statement on Friday, reports Bloomberg news-agency.

Apple is infringing 10 patents related to mobile phones, Samsung claimed in an April 27 lawsuit in federal court in San Jose, California. Apple accused of using Samsung’s inventions without paying. In the U.S. complaint, Samsung accused Apple of violating patents that “relate to fundamental innovations that increase mobile device reliability, efficiency, and quality, and improve user interface in mobile handsets and other products".

“Apple continues to violate Samsung’s patent rights by using these patented technologies without a license,” Samsung said in the lawsuit.

Earlier in April Apple sued Samsung of patent infringements and claimed that its Galaxy-series smartphones and tablets copied iPhone and iPad.
