GeForce4 Based Cards: Like from the Horn of Plenty...

As we have expected, after the official announcement of the new GeForce4 the graphics card makers rushed forward with their fresh new products on this chip. The specs of these graphics cards are incredibly similar and coincide by nearly 100% with those recommended by NVIDIA (see this news story). That is why I decided to avoid posting numerous similarly looking press-releases and will from time to time offer you short lists of the new companies, which have joined the army. Here is what we have so far:

• MSI G4MX440 (GeForce4 MX 440. Video-In and TV-Out);
• InnoVISION Tornado GeForce4 MX440;
• VisionTek Xtasy GeForce4 MX 440, Xtasy GeForce4 MX 420 and Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4600;
• Chaintech GeForce4 MX440 and MX460;
• ABIT Siluro GeForce4 MX (They don’t report which MX that is).
