When Celeron moved to a new 0.13micron Tualatin256 core, there appeared no need in continuing the old 0.18micron processor families. That is why no wonder that the representatives of the older Intel generation die out little by little.

This time the discontinuance program touched upon Pentium III 933MHz in FC-PGA and FC-PGA2 (with the integrated heat spreader) package. The boxed processors are no longer shipping. The last order for tray versions will be accepted on May 3, 2002 at the latest and the last supply will be delivered on June 13, 2003.
