As we have expected (see this news story), on January 27 Intel reduced the prices on some of its faster CPU models. Namely, the price reduction touched upon four Pentium 4 models (now the 1.3GHz-1.6GHz processors cost $133 in 1,000-unit quantities), 4 desktop Celeron models (the fastest 1.3GHz model now sells at $103), 2 Xeon models and 2 Pentium III-S CPUs.
All the other details on this price drop are available in Intel’s official price-list.
