As it was promised during the official announcement of NVDIA nForce 415D chipset launch (which is a regular nForce 420D with no integrated graphics core), very soon MSI will announce a mainboard based on this chipset, the Chinese Greasy.com relates. This board will be called K7N415 Pro. Its design will be similar to that of its predecessor, MSI K7N420 Pro. MSI made use of nForce 415D and 420D being pin-compatible and introduced the same PCBs for both the chipsets. Thus, the only difference between these two mainboards is that MSI K7N415 Pro has no support for integrated graphics, which makes it circa $30 cheaper.
The specifications of MSI K7N415 Pro look as follows: Socket 478, 3 DIMM slots for PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM, support for Twinbank Memory Architecture, one AGP 4x, 5 PCI, one CNR slot, Hyper Transport bus to connect the Bridges, an MCP audio processor unit, optional support for 10/100Mbit Ethernet, D-Bracket.
MSI K7N415 Pro is to appear in stock this February.
