Hercules Doing Evident Things

We have already told you about ATI’s success in its chips promotion among the graphics cards makers and as you remember, we supposed that the list of ATI adherents will gain one more member: Hercules.
So, now we have every right to state that Hercules already joined the others, as we have predicted, because this company (as a part of Guillemot) has always been one of the major oppositionists to “pro-NVIDIA” tendency. Of course, it has very often fallen into NVIDIA’s disgrace for that.
So, Hercules sent us an official press-release where they announced that they reached a mutually profitable agreement with ATI about the production of graphics cards on its chips under 3D Prophet brand name. At first, the company will launch a multimedia combine called ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500 DV and a retail graphics card based on RADEON 8500 chip (working at 275MHz core and memory frequency). Later on there will be cheaper solutions coming, such as RADEON 7500 based cards.
Hercules ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500 DV is expected in February, the other cards should come out a bit later.
