AOpen: One More i845 B-Step Mainboard

One more novelty on i845 B-Step chipset has been just announced by AOpen. It is called AX4B Pro and is designed in ATX form-factor for Socket478 Pentium 4 processors. It supports up to 2GB (4 banks) of PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM, 5 PCI slots, an AGP 4x slot and a CNR slot. Besides, the board also has AC’97 sound, ATA/100 support due to ICH2. This solution boasts some overclocking friendly features, such as FSB frequency adjustment between 100MHz and 248MHz with 1MHz increments. AX4B Pro also supports brand Dr. Voice technology (sending voiced error notification during POST), and an optional Dr. LED (sending visual error notification during POST) and Die-Hard BIOS (protection against viruses).
