Although Gigabyte used to refuse categorically to produce graphics cards on ATI chips, now they decided to reveal their actual intentions in this respect. The company’s official web-site now mentioned three new graphics cards based on ATI RADEON 7500, RADEON 7000 and Rage128 pro chips. Here they are:
- AR64S-H (ATI RADEON 7500 Pro). Despite the name of this product, it is based on RADEON 7500LE and features 64MB SDR SDRAM. The graphics chip works at 250MHz, while the memory works at 183MHz. The card is equipped with three Outs: D-Sub, DVI and TV. We have to note that this solution boasts very original cooling including heatsinks fastened to the memory chips.
- AV64S-T (ATI RADEON 7000 Pro). This low-profile graphics card is built on RADEON 7000 chip working at 150MHz and features 64MB SDR SDRAM also working at 150MHz and supporting 64bit memory bus. Besides the regular Out, the card also has a TV-Out.
- AG32S (ATI RAGE 128 Pro). Rade128 Pro chip from ATI works at 120MHz. This graphics card is provided with 32MB SDR SDRAM supporting 120MHz frequency. It has a D-Sub out only onboard.
Note that although the info about these products is already on the company web-site no official press-releases have been made so far.
