Well, we have to mention one more pretty ordinary product built on the new i845 B0 core stepping chipset. It is the freshly announced solution from MSI called 845 Ultra-ARU. This is an ATX mainboard for Socket478 Pentium 4 processors equipped with 3 DIMM slots for up to 2GB (4 banks) PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM. It also has an AGP 4x slot, a CNR slot and 5 PCI slots. The board supports ATA/100 interface due to ICH2 and may come with an optional ATA/133 RAID controller from Promise and USB 2.0 controller from NEC. Besides, this product supports MSI’s brand Smart Key, Live Driver, D-Bracket, Fuzzy Logic 3, Live BIOS, PC Alert III technologies. All in all, MSI 845 Ultra-ARU is a good product on a nice but quite expensive chipset.
