Chaintech today announced its 8BJD mainboard based on Intel 845 chipset with B0 core stepping. The newcomer is designed in ATX form-factor, supports Socket478 Pentium 4 CPUs, features 2 DIMM slots for up to 2GB PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM, 5 PCI slots, a CNR and an AGP 4x slot. Besides, there are 6 USB 1.1 ports (two are optional), ATA/100 support due to ICH2 hub, an optional 6-channel C-media 8738 sound and SPDIF-Out.
We would like to remind you that today is the first day when Intel officially allowed the mainboard manufacturers to start shipping mainboards on this chipset (see this news story).
