Intel Reduced CPU Prices

Intel today announced officially that they reduce the prices for some of their processors, including desktop and server Pentium III CPUs, and one Celeron processor 9all the prices are given for 1,000-unit quantities):
- Pentium III 1.13A (0.13micron) and 1.10GHz (0.18micron) got 10% cheaper and now cost $173 (old price: $193);
- Pentium III 1GHz (0.18micron) got 17% cheaper and cost now $143 (old price: $173);
- Pentium III 850MHz-933MHz (0.18micron) got 12% cheaper and cost now $143, like their 1GHz brother (old price: $163);
- Pentium III-S 1.26GHz (0.13micron, L2 cache 512KB) turned 20% cheaper and costs now $241 (old price: $300);
- Pentium III-S 1.13GHz (0.13micron, L2 cache 512KB) got 14% cheaper and costs $202 (old price: $235);
- Celeron 950MHz turned 7% cheaper and costs $64 (old price: $69).
