Hynix Semiconductor and Micron Technology officially announced that they started the negotiations about a strategic alliance or any other joint ventures. In other words the companies started seeking ways to cooperation during the crisis.
And not so long ago the analysts regarded Micron as a Number 1 manufacturer willing to see Hynix go bankrupt and nearly one of the main ringleaders of the memory prices damping, which lasted over half a year. But now that it has become clear that the Korean government will not let Hynix (17% of the memory market) go bankrupt, Micron (20% of the market) started taking its competitor totally differently. Yeah, business is a very hypocritical thing...
