First VIA KT266 Based Mainboards Selling Now!

Well, it looks as if VIA KT266 based mainboards started little by little penetrating into the market. And the first company to start selling its products turned out MSI. The Japanese hardware retailers are already offering MSI K7T266 Pro mainboard in their stores for around $186. As for the mainboard specs, here is some brief coverage for your reference.
K7T266Pro is an ATX Socket A mainboard equipped with 5 PCI, 1 CNR and 1 AGP Pro slot, which supports up to 3GB of PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM installed into 3 DIMM slots. Besides, the board will also feature an integrated IDE RAID controller from Promise and will be the first mainboard to work with the new USB 2.0 interface due to an optional USB 2.0 host controller from NEC. The mainboard will be also accompanied with a special USB 2.0 bracket with 4 USB 2.0 ports (optional).
