"New Old" Samuel by VIA

VIA has declared its intention to package part of its Cyrix III CPUs with Samuel core not in the standard PGA, but in BGA (ball grid array).
These processors are aimed at Low-End systems, where the CPU is simply soldered onto the mainboard. Naturally, such a board (based on a non-pricy chipset with integrated graphics like PLE133) will also feature other necessary on-board bundles - sound, USB, a modem and so on. When put together, all this stuff will make a cheap system with a minimal upgrade potential (perhaps, there will be no potential whatsoever). In short, we shall get another ordinary device.
