ABIT at CeBIT

Although a lot of mainboard manufacturers have already offered more than one DDR solution, ABIT seems to be keeping absolutely silent all the time. However, the coming CeBIT is very likely to raise the curtain of mystery over ABIT’s plans in this direction. According to this Japanese site, ABIT will be showcasing 3 new products at the Hanover show:

• KG7. This is a notorious AMD-760 based mainboard, which launching has been postponed several times already. It features 6 PCI slots and 4 DDR DIMM slots.
• VR6-RAID. This Socket370/FC-PGA mainboard is quite an interesting product since it will have VIA Apollo Pro266T chipset. So, besides the regular Pentium III CPUs, it will support Tualatin processors. It will have 3 DDR DIMM slots, 6 PCI slots and will support SoftMenu III technology. The board will feature an integrated HPT370 ATA/100 IDE RAID controller.
• VH6T. This board is the next revision of Socket370 VH6 mainboard, which will support Tualatin CPUs due to VIA Apollo Pro133T core logic. There will be 5 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 ISA and 1 AMR slot onboard.
