Thermaltake decided to go for a change and to leave aside round coolers for a while. Yesterday the company announced a new cooler of a more common square shape. However, Thermaltake has never been a manufacturer of simple solutions that’s why the new product called Volcano II looks as extravagant as its brothers.
Here are some specs of the new cooler intended for Socket 462 CPUs supporting up to 1.5GHz:

Well, the major advantage of the new Volcano II over the Super Orb family appears smaller size of the cooler lower part, which means that this cooler fits onto any mainboard. At the same time, this cooler is more efficient than Super Orb even. Although the fan is equipped with two ball bearing mechanisms, this product is one of the most loud ones. It is a real volcano!
