At the Platform Conference, which is going one right now in the Silicon Valley, VIA showed its new offspring – Cyrix III CPU based on the Samuel2 (C5B) core. In order to distinguish between the old Cyrix III based on Samuel core and the new one, the latter got a special "A" marking right after the frequency. It was remarkable that this processor was showcased with a mainboard built on VIA KLE133 chipset (with the integrated Trident 9880 graphics core without any external AGP support). This chipset is now the cheapest solution from VIA.
Of course, it will hardly make any sense to use this "fast" CPU with any faster mainboard...
