Iwill today announced its new Socket A mainboards KK266-R and KK266 based on VIA Apollo KT133A North Bridge and VT82C686B South Bridge. The new products can boast support for 266MHz Front Side Bus Athlons up to 1.5GHz processor speeds.
The mainboards feature the following expansion slots: 6 PCI, 1 ISA, and 1 AGP 4x slot. Besides, there are also 3 DIMM slots supporting up to 1.5GB of PC100/PC133/VCM SDRAM.
Iwill KK266 family also possess onboard 4.1 channel hardware audio controller: C-media CMI8378. KK266-R is also equipped with an integrated AMI ATA/100 IDE RAID controller.
Microstepping Technology was developed by Iwill to ease the adjustment of Front Side Bus via continuous 1MHz increments up to 200MHz.
